1. Welcome, Earthling!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the AIlien Team ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our AIlien Wallpaper Generator and services (the "Service").

By using our Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our Service (though we'll be sad to see you go).

AIlien Wallpaper Generator is an open-source project under Apache License 2.0.

2. What We Offer

AIlien Wallpaper Generator is our cosmic service that uses advanced artificial intelligence (that we definitely didn't steal from actual aliens) to create unique wallpapers based on your text descriptions. We help you make stunning custom backgrounds for desktops, phones, and ultrawide monitors that'll make your friends jealous.

3. Using Our Cosmic Generator

3.1. No account needed! We use your IP address to keep track of your daily limits (we're generous but not infinite).

3.2. Free users get 5 wallpaper creations per day. Your counter resets every 24 hours, Earth time.

3.3. We might change these limits in the future. If we do, we'll let you know on the site.

4. What You Can't Do

Please don't use AIlien Wallpaper Generator to:

• Generate anything harmful, offensive, adult-oriented, or that would make your grandmother uncomfortable.
• Create content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property (no stealing other people's creativity).
• Pretend to be someone else (even if you are secretly an alien).
• Try to break our service or interfere with how it works.
• Attempt to access parts of our system you're not supposed to.
• Collect information about other users (that's our job... kidding!).
• Use our service for commercial purposes without our permission.

5. Who Owns What

5.1. Our Stuff. The AIlien Wallpaper Generator service, code, design, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The codebase is available under Apache License 2.0.

5.2. Your Creations. While you keep rights to the text prompts you send us, the wallpapers our alien technology creates follow these rules:

• Images from our free tier are for your personal use only – perfect for your devices, but not for selling.
• You agree not to sell or distribute generated images commercially without proper licensing.
• You can't claim exclusive ownership of AI-generated images (they're partly the work of our alien algorithms, after all).

5.3. We might use anonymized prompts and images to improve our service or show off what AIlien can do in our marketing materials.

6. No Guarantees

6.1. AIlien Wallpaper Generator is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." Sometimes even alien technology has off days. We don't promise that it will always work perfectly, produce exactly what you imagined, or be error-free.

6.2. We're not responsible if our service doesn't meet your specific needs or if there are occasional glitches in the matrix.

7. Limits on Liability

The AIlien Team, our partners, and our alien overlords are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our service. In other words, if a wallpaper we generate somehow leads to a chain of events that results in you missing your bus, we can't be held responsible.

8. Your Responsibility

You agree to defend and hold harmless the AIlien Team from any claims related to your use of our service. This includes any content you generate, your violations of these Terms, or your violation of any laws or rights of others.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

9.1. We're constantly improving our alien technology! That means we might change, suspend, or even discontinue parts of the service at any time.

9.2. We may update these Terms as our service evolves. We'll post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.

9.3. If you continue using AIlien after we change the Terms, it means you accept the changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Earth laws (specifically those of [Your Country]), without regard to conflicts of law principles. If any disputes arise, we'll handle them according to these laws, not the laws of Planet Zorg or any other alien jurisdiction.
